Stan Lee passes away at 95
I am deeply saddened to report that the legendary Stan Lee has passed away today. The influential comic-book writer was a, if not the driving force behind the comic-book craze in the 1960s which would later turn into the monopoly-level medium giant it is today. Although he is constantly referred to as the creator of Spider-Man, Stan Lee is also responsible to creating other famous superheroes such as the Fantastic Four and the X-Men, one of my personal favorites. In addition, he has also contributed to other creations such as the Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-Man, Daredevil and Iron Man. Honestly the list is massive so to speak, the same can be said for the legacy he has left behind. For me personally, what I loved most about Lee's heroes was how he characterized them in that we could relate to
them on some level, whether it was their ideals, their backgrounds, their history or their dreams. No words can summarize how much I will miss this giant of a man; his visionary work has been a staple of not only my childhood but of my parents as well, and there's no doubt his work will be remembered for future generations to come. Rest in peace Mr. Lee.
